ENGLISH VERSION.
The tailleur
is a timeless female garment; it’s one of that clothing that will never set, a
real “status and style symbol”. The tailleur is the female example that
correspond to the male suit, made of two pieces of the same textile, jacket and
trousers or skirt. Elegant, of first-rate, gives to women a strong, resolute
and stated appeal. Seriousness and independence for a business woman, the suit
is the perfect match of an office look; extravagance and personality for a
woman that wears a suit on the occasion of a gala, like an important evening or
even a wedding. The tailleurs textile change from Coco Chanel to Giorgio
Armani, the forms, the cut, and colours as well but the ideal of this clothing
is exactly the same. It’s also weared by the most popular women of the star
system, from Greta Garbo to Carrie Bradshaw (Sex and the City), “the tailleur
has changed a hundred times his frame, leaving at the same time his
“overbearing” character.
It’s manly
if it is weared with a classic-cut
shirt; it’s funny if it is weared with a
t-shirt; sensual, with a transparent or
a sheered top. The tailleurs versatility is that what needs a modern
woman, that spends the day outside; actually if in the morning with shirt and
cardigan it is a perfect match, in the evening the look can be upset by a chic,
sequined or sparkling top. White for Elisabetta Franchi; black for the king of
“new-modern-tailleur” Giorgio Armani. Black and unusual for Dolce and Gabbana;
cement grey for Iceberg. Pois for Pinko; mixed textiles for Max and Co. Grey
tweed for Stefanel; and bicolored for Zara.
